Can i use VEET or NAIR on my face?

So i have a little bit of hair on the space above my upper lip and below my nostrils. It makes me look like i have a mustache. Since I'm a girl, its not really attractive. So I'm just wondering if i can use veet on my face. Will it be safe or will there be side effects? I use veet on my armpits and on my legs and i have never had any problems.
