Saganaki help...please ?

I have the cheese kasseri and I plan on making saganaki (greek flaming cheese). The problem is, I'm not sure if I should use brandy (brandy might make it taste weird) the recipe calls for brandy, to light the cheese on fire but I'm not to sure. Is there any other liquors I can use, preferably something greek.
