Do you think music has just evolved and not bad?

I like all genres although my favorites are soul music and rap and rap was good in the 1990's but R&B no.Why do you think on so many 1990's films they played old school songs from like the Isley Brothers,rap sampled some good songs and I think rap was the only good music genre by blacks in the 1990's cause I loved Motown and 70's and 80's soul but 90's was horrible like Jodeci,Brandy,Monica, I guess that made the genre unpopular but has music just evolved or has music in general gotten bad?
