Do I need larger nostril bars?

I've had both my nostrils pierced since April 9th and I developed some hypotrophic scarring. I've been doing sea salt soaks and just tonight I started to use a tea bag as a hot compress to help the bumps go down. Well, I was shocked to see one of the beads got pushed down into the hole! I must have pushed down too hard or something. I managed to poke it back up, but I wanted to know if the outside skin will still heal tightly around the bar or if I'm going to need to go up a size.
