I'm about to take my very first drink of alcohol. adivce?

I am 21 and yes I've never drank alcohol before, a few sips when i was 12 and that was it. I have a bottle of brandy here, and I am wondering how much you would advise that I drink? will it have any effect on me? Thanks people.
