Staffordshire Bull Terriers?

What do you think about Staffordshire Bull Terriers? I have two, Brandy and Sadie, but all my friends are scared of them because Brandy loves attention and jumps up at new people which is most of my friends apart from my bestfriend, because shes used to them :/ People think staffies are bad, but they are one of the most trustworthy dogs there are, they are so loving, and good with children who dont abuse them, but I think they are only good dogs if they are brought up into a loving family straight from puppies like mine :) What do you think about staffies? Do you think they're bad? Do you think they're good with older children? :)
